The Ling-Temco-Vought (LTV) XC-142 is a tiltwing experimental aircraft designed to investigate the operational suitability of vertical/short takeoff and landing transports. An XC-142A first flew conventionally on 29 September 1964, and on 11 January 1965, it completed its first transitional flight by taking off vertically, changing to forward flight and finally landing vertically. Its participants pulled out of the program one-by-one and it eventually ended due to a lack of interest after demonstrating its capabilities successfully.

The flying characteristics of the original are reproduced in the model by the pre-installed flight controller. Transition from vertical to horizontal flight and back, motor control and stabilization are managed by the flight controller so that a single switch can be used for this function. True to scale, pitch control is assisted by a horizontally mounted propeller at the tail, which is also managed by the flight controller.

SPECIAL FUSELAGE DESIGN
The whole unibody fuselage is produced by our copyright one-step moulding technology, which make it more durable and strong than other EPO foamy insert carbon tube. So it can avoid the tail effected by the air and cause the bump during the flight.
